Dear Upper School Families,
As we head into the final weeks of school before winter break, a few reminders for students and families. It is the season of sniffles. If your student is sick, please keep them home. If your student is at home sick, please notify the division administrative assistant to let us know. For Upper School, this is Louise Sholander (firstname.lastname@example.org). If a student is at home sick, they should stay home the entire day. This includes rehearsals, practices, performances, and games. A student’s health must take priority over school and school-related activities!
Also, as the cold weather approaches, make sure your student is wearing uniform appropriate outerwear, socks, and shoes. You can find the uniform requirements for outwear, socks, and shoes, in the Handbook for Students and Families. Stay warm out there!
Upper School Play: The Drowsy Chaperone
There are only a few tickets available for the last weekend of the Upper School play. A middle-aged, asocial, musical theatre zealot, sits in a chair in his small apartment playing the record of his favorite musical, the 1928 hit...The Drowsy Chaperone. The show comes to life onstage with all its crazy-fun characters singing and dancing in 1920’s style. Find your tickets here!

Million Deliberate Acts of Kindness
The Riverside County Office of Education started a kindness movement - "Million Deliberate Acts of Kindness" and we'd like to join in on social media. Our students and families participate in many service activities throughout the year and we’d love to share photos using the Riverside County hashtag #KindnessRivCo. If you are a student or parent on a service learning/community field trip, please be sure to take photos while you're there and share them with Courtney Fisher (email@example.com). Or tag your own acts with #KindnessRivCo and #PalmValleySchool.
