Weekly Notes from the Head of Upper School, 11/1

Dear Upper School Families,

It can be very difficult for students to know what kind of job or career they would be interested in, without knowing more about what a certain occupation is like from day to day. Not all students have the opportunity to intern or gain experience before making a choice about what they might be interested in studying in college. I recently found a podcast where people share their day to day experiences in their chosen profession. Why not use the time spent traveling to school, or to a game by listening to a podcast about what it is like to be an aquarium veterinarian? Find more interesting podcasts about working at the Working Podcast page.
