“If you really want to make a friend, go to someone's house and eat with him...
the people who give you their food give you their heart.”

Dear Upper School families,
Flapjacks for Families (tomorrow)
Please join us on Monday, May 17th, from 7:30 to 9:15 am for the annual Flapjacks for Families. The PVS Administrative Team will cook pancakes, serve coffee and juice, and provide fresh fruit, courtesy of CV Harvest. This event is our way to thank you, from our hearts, for all of your support throughout the year.
A Heartfelt Thank You
On behalf of the Upper School, I would like to offer my most sincere thank you to the Parent Association for Teacher Appreciation Week. The week provided another reminder of the supportive environment that composes the PVS community.
Advanced Placement Exams
Our exams will take place between Tuesday, May 18th and Thursday, May 27th. All students will be required to sit for their exams on campus. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s AP teacher.
Last Day of School
Thursday, June 3rd, is the last day of school and is a minimum day. Students that day will begin with their End of Year Awards ceremony, followed by a final Nest competition. Once we’ve determined the Best of the Nest, we will enjoy a special lunch of pizza and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream provided by our fantastic P.A. Students will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m.
Please remember to turn in your signed contract and deposit for the 2021-2022 school year if you have not yet done so. Please reach out to Abby Sturgeon, Director of Admissions and Marketing, if you have any questions, email@example.com.
Upper School Drama Showcase
This year Palm Valley School is hosting a Showcase for Upper School Drama Students. The showcase will be taking place in the gym on Friday, May 28th, at 6 PM. It will feature performances from all Upper School Drama Students with classical and contemporary monologues and a few original scenes they have been working on this semester. This is also an exploration of multimedia in the performing arts. This showcase is for immediate family members only. Each student will receive one free ticket. After that, tickets are $15 each. Please contact Ms. Clarke if you have any questions: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Class of 2021
Hannah Hall has been accepted to the University of California at Santa Cruz.
Our Commencement Ceremony is on Friday, June 4th, beginning at 6 pm in the Admin Circle (the area in front of the MS Building).
Rehearsal will take place on Thursday, June 3rd, beginning at 6:30 pm. All graduates must attend this rehearsal.
Personal Device Policy
As a reminder, please be aware that students must use school-owned technology such as computers, Chromebooks, and iPads on PVS-managed internet and WiFi. If students bring a personal device to school, it will be taken and placed in either the US or MS office for the day and will need to pick it up after school.
The yearbook is still available for purchase! The website link is no longer active, but it can be purchased in division offices on campus. The cost is $70. We have a limited number of yearbooks available this year and we have already sold 70% of them. Get yours today!
