Dear Upper School families,
Student Enrollment Contracts
By now, you should have received your welcome letter, contract, and school calendar for the 2021-2022 academic year. Critical to making an accurate estimate is the return of student enrollment contracts. As we look ahead to next year and try to estimate our staffing needs and which classes we’ll be able to offer, we ask that you please get your signed contract and deposit in by April 15th. This year, in particular, we have seen an influx of new residents to our valley, and spots are filling up quickly. We can’t wait for another year together - getting back to a full slate of activities and athletics!

Dust your party shoes off, rock your favorite mask, and get ready for an evening to remember. Event Information and Ticket Purchasing
Scholastic Book Fair, March 9th - 22nd
This year, our Scholastic Book Fair will be completely virtual. When you purchase books from Scholastic, your orders will be sent directly to your home, and if you spend $25 or more, shipping will be free! The proceeds directly benefit our PVS teachers. Our school uses the proceeds to build up classroom libraries and purchase supplemental materials. LINK TO BOOKFAIR: PVS Bookfair If you need suggestions, please reach out to the classroom teacher.
St. Patrick’s Day
This coming Wednesday, March 17th, is St. Patrick’s Day, a favorite of Dr. Mary O’Neil, the founder of Marywood Country Day School. Students may wear a green shirt and/or accessory this day. Please wear regular uniform bottoms and athletic shoes; this is not a free dress day. The Parent Association will be selling St Patrick’s Day bracelets for $5 each on Wednesday, March 17th, during morning drop-off at Lower, Middle, and Upper School. Each student who purchases a bracelet will get a bonus Free Dress Day on Friday, March 19th. If your student buys a bracelet, make sure they remember to wear it on Friday to show that they are eligible to participate in the bonus Free Dress Day.
