Weekly Notes from the Preschool Director, Sept. 6

Dear Preschool Families,

Welcome Back! Now that the first week of school is over, we are all settling into the routine. We recongize this routine may be new to some of you and your children in Preschool. Please remember, in order to establish good habits and foster trust in adults, we ask that all parents/guardians say “goodbye,” before leaving each morning at drop-off. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Please also remember to sign in/sign out every day and take your children to their teacher, do not leave them in the classroom without supervision.

During the first week of school, I was able to get away from my duties to see our now-Kindergarteners in Lower School. I was pleased to see they are engaged and ready to learn!

Family Volunteers
We appreciate your interest in being a volunteer for your child's class! Please contact me for additional forms needed to complete the process.

Our summer camp and extended care programs were well received this summer! This year, we will continue to support our families with care through mini-camps! Mini-camps will be offered during Professional Development days, other no school days and during some school breaks for a minimal fee. More information coming soon!

Martha’s Village
This Friday your child received a “colored” bag. Use this to donate empty bottles each week. Please let this be a child directed effort.

Upcoming Events:
