Weekly Notes from the Head of Preschool, 5/1

Dear Preschool Families,

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a relaxing and restful spring break. We had a wonderful spring break camp last week. There was a great group of children who got to learn, discover and play throughout the week. This was the last mini-camp for the school year, but we will be running our summer camp following the close of our school year. Summer camp is open to all children in the valley grades Preschool - 5th, so spread the word to your friends and come join us for our Curiosity Summer Camp.

As the weather continues to warm, we will be adjusting our outdoor time to prevent overheating in the children. Our policy is that if the temperature is over 100 degrees the E10 children will only be out for 30 minutes and the E9 children will stay inside. We also ask that parents who want their children to wear sunscreen to please apply it to their child in the morning.  We will happily re-apply the sunscreen later in the day if you wish (you must fill out a state form and give us a container of sunscreen that is not expired). Please see me if you have questions.

#PVSDayofGiving19
Today is #PVSDayofGiving19! We are closer to our goals than ever before and need your help! As is our tradition, our spring "PVS Day of Giving" is a last chance opportunity for families and supporters to contribute to our annual fund efforts before the end of the school year. Please consider giving to honor a favorite teacher, your student, or memory of a loved one. Leave a note of thanks, congratulations, or tell us why you give and we'll post it on social media along with a thank you! Give your gift on Facebook, online, or in person before midnight tonight.

Enrollment Contracts
Today is the absolute last day to turn in your re-enrollment contracts. Please be advised that after today, May 1st, you are taken off the rosters and are subject to the re-application process and new family fee if you then wish to enroll. If you have a special circumstance and/or any particular questions about the contract please feel free to contact me, Mrs. Rice or the business office to discuss.
