Weekly Notes from the Head of Preschool, 10/31

Dear Families,

This past Saturday was the Fall Festival, and I am happy to report that it was an amazing success. We had so many families come out and enjoy the festivities. Our Preschool pumpkin booth was a big hit. Thank you to all the families who stopped by, volunteered and supported our wonderful school. Today is, of course, Halloween! Everyone from infants to Pre-Kindergarteners had the opportunity to participate in an exciting all-school celebration of parading and trick-or-treating. Thank you, parents and families, for all your help today and doing your part in getting your little ones to school on time and in costume!

Illness
We have had a wave of fevers and runny noses in the Preschool. In order to keep our community healthy, we ask that all families follow our guidelines regarding illness. All children must be fever free for 24 hours, without medication, to return to school. Rashes, stomach issues, etc. must also be cleared up before a child returns to school. It is always a good idea to have your child see a doctor if they are sick. The doctor can give you the best information about the illness and can also clear your child to return to school. We ask that if your child does become ill that you let us know the diagnosis. If there are certain illnesses/diseases running through our center, letting us know enables us to take additional preventative measures to hopefully stop it from spreading. Thank you in advance for helping us stay healthy.
