Weekly Notes from Preschool Director, 5/13

Hello Preschool Families,

I hope everyone is continuing to check ClassDojo for daily activities. Please know that these activities are not required for families to complete. These are simply options to help keep your little ones learning at home and practicing specific milestones that are age-appropriate. If you notice that your child needs extra help in some areas, please contact me through email and I can send you additional activities or ideas for you to implement at home.

I sent out an email yesterday to our Preschool Families that included a Google Form about Preschool Summer 2020. If you haven’t already, please fill out this form. At this time, I am simply trying to compose data for our Administration at the school to see what steps we can take moving forward. Unfortunately, COVID-19 continues to be a real hazard, so the state of California has instituted new requirements for Preschools. We have to be very careful with how we open up any time soon. The safety of our students, families, and faculty is extremely important to us. Once we have more information on either a schedule or guidelines, we will contact you.

PVS Head of School Dr. Sherman announced in his email on Monday that I will be making appointments for parents to come to campus to collect your student’s belongings on June 1st. We will practice safe distancing protocols and have a no-contact system to do so. More information will be sent out in the coming weeks.
