Good Morning Preschool Families,
We have made it through two and a half weeks of Distance Learning! This week, I have been inviting each class to attend a GoogleMeet Morning Meeting. This first meeting was mainly for our children to check in with each other and see their friends. Many of our students are missing the regular routine of school, their friends, and their teachers. I will do my best to have these meetings every so often so we can check-in. As many of you have witnessed, it can be a little complicated having these virtual meetings with such a young age group. Please be patient and know that I am working out details to ensure the best experience for our students.
For our Prekindergarten students, I will be posting “activities” in ClassDojo, so that you can upload a picture of your child’s worksheets or activities to turn in. I want you to know that this is not a requirement. I am also creating a Google Drive link with all the worksheets I am compiling, once that is ready, I will let you know so I can share that link with you. This is meant for families who would like to work at their own pace and not through my daily activities spread out on ClassDojo.
I will be reaching out through phone calls this week to check in with families who have not turned in their contracts for the 2020-2021 school year. I am happy to report that our Preschool classrooms are filling up quickly and in some classes, already full. Please try to get these contracts electronically or by mail, as soon as possible. If you have any questions regarding Financial Aid, please contact Abby Sturgeon at Asturgeon@pvs.org.
