A Message from the Head of Preschool

Preschool families,

I want to thank all our families for being patient with us as we navigate ensuring all of our preschool families are receiving communications in the form of eblasts. I believe we have fixed the issue and everyone should be receiving this one through their email from the school.

Our weather seems to have changed once again! Our mornings are getting cold while our afternoons are staying on the warm side. Please make sure your child has dressed appropriately in the mornings. We are having our Outdoor Days every Monday and Friday from 8:00 am- 10:45 am and then regular recess on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 8:00 am- 8:30 am and then 10:45 am -11:15 am. With this being said, it can be very difficult to figure out whose jackets belong to who. Please make sure you are labeling your child’s items. We will do our best to make sure these items come back home to you but we are not responsible for any items that go missing.

Tomorrow is our E10 Safety DAY! Our Quails, Coyotes, and Jackrabbits will be getting a visit from our local Sheriff's Department as well as our local Fire Department. They will be able to see an ambulance, firetruck, police car, and a motorcycle! This comes at a great time since we will also be participating in the Great CA ShakeOut this week on Thursday. Our students will get to practice what to do in the event of an earthquake and then evacuate the buildings safely. We want to encourage our families to talk to their children at home about what to do if there is a fire and/or earthquake so everyone is better prepared for emergencies.
