Massimo (Max) Mulé was born and raised in the Coachella Valley. He attended Marywood Country Day School, then Marywood-Palm Valley School from preschool to twelfth grade and graduated in 2016. He currently resides in Tucson, Arizona, where he is an undergraduate student at the University of Arizona pursuing a degree in linguistics. His primary focus is the maintenance and revitalization of Native American languages, and he has been studying the Tohono O’odham language since his arrival at the U of A. He is also an intern at the American Indian Language Development Institute and he aids with research on an indigenous language called Hiaki.
