Hi Families –
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Here’s what the Parent Association has planned each day for our amazing faculty:
Monday, May 3rd: Coffee and Donuts
Sponsored by the Scheil family
We will be delivering Krispy Kreme donuts and coffee to our Teachers first thing Monday morning.
Tuesday, May 4th: Flower Arrangements
Sponsored by the Palmer/Yang family
We will be delivering small hand-made flower arrangements for our Teachers to take home and enjoy.
Wednesday, May 5th: Cookies and Starbucks
Sponsored by the Tahvilian family
We will be giving all Teachers a large iced sugar cookie and a Starbucks gift card for a sweet treat.
Thursday, May 6th: Appreciation Station Cards
Sponsored by the Webster/Esper family
We will be distributing the cards that our students make for all of their Teachers (see details below).
Friday, May 7th: Lunch
Sponsored by the Lam/Patierno family
We will be taking orders and delivering lunch to all Teachers to end out our Week of Thanks.
These are just the things that the PA has planned for next week. Please also show your appreciation to our Teachers in your own way. They have worked so incredibly hard this year and deserve as many Thank You sentiments as we can give them.
And although it’s called “Teacher” Appreciation Week, please know that we will be including all Staff, Administrators and our Maintenance Crew in everything listed above. They go above and beyond as well and we are so appreciative of all of their efforts.
We mentioned above that we will have Appreciation Stations this year. This means that we will have tables outside of all four divisions at drop-off next week (Lower & Upper School on Tuesday / Preschool & Middle School on Wednesday). The tables will have assorted greeting cards, coloring sheets, markers, crayons, colored pencils and stickers for our students to stop by and pick up on their way into school. They can then take their supplies home, write their teachers a special message, decorate the envelope and/or card and bring it back to campus (each division will have a red box where students will drop their cards). All cards are due back by Thursday morning as they will be sorted and distributed to the Teachers at lunch time that day.
We do need a few volunteers to help assemble the flower arrangements. If you are available Monday morning (May 3rd) from 8:45AM – 10:15AM to help us on campus, please send an email to email@example.com.
Finally, we want to say a special thank you to our parent sponsors who contributed towards the cost of these events. They were very generous and helped make this week extra special for all of our PVS family. Thank you.
