Dear Middle School Families,
One of the programs that I am very proud we offer in the Middle School is our Advisory Program. It provides students time to seek support from subject teachers, independently study, and form strong relationships with their peers as they discuss topics ranging from health and wellness, relationships, identity, and the future. This week, our students will be learning about the criteria for passing the Advisory Program and understanding what is expected of them. One of the major requirements for passing the Advisory Program is to facilitate the Student Led Conferences. Over the next couple of weeks, the students will be preparing a portfolio to share with you that communicates their progress, goals, and examples of work. This is a very empowering and rewarding experience for our MS Students. We will be explaining more about Student Led Conferences during our Open House this week.
Here are a few announcements moving forward:
Please note that last weeks e-blast had the wrong date for our Athletic Photos. They will be taken on October 10th and 11th.
