Weekly Notes from the Head of Middle School, 3/21

Dear Middle School Families,

Congratulations to our Middle Schools boys “Black” team for winning the championship last week! The boys demonstrated a lot of determination and worked well as a team to earn their achievement. Thank you, families, for all of your support transporting students to and from away games. Well played and congratulations!

This time of year, our advisory program will begin to shift its attention to the Health and Wellness Unit. Advisory lessons will focus on nutrition and exercise, body image and sexual education, mental health and support, gender identity and diversity, and tobacco use. We will have some lessons that are facilitated by our advisors, but most will be guest speakers from Eisenhower Medical Center. We are very lucky to have such a close working relationship with professionals within the community that can provide the most current information about topics that can have an immediate impact on our students' development. Your support and encouragement are greatly appreciated.
