Weekly Notes from the Head of Middle School, 3/6

Dear Middle School Families,

We are now more than halfway through the third quarter, but the students remain focused and motivated. I am so pleasantly surprised when I remind them they have a day off coming next week and they react shocked and surprised. I find this to be a tangible example of their love for school and their learning environment. I remember when I was in middle school, the days off were the first thing I memorized or highlighted in my planner!

March is a very important time for Independent Schools. This is the month we look ahead to next year and try to estimate our staffing needs and which classes we’ll be able to offer. Critical to making an accurate estimate is the return of student enrollment contracts. If you have not yet returned your contract, please try to get it in as soon as possible so that we may plan accordingly.
