Weekly Notes from the Head of Middle School, 1/24

Dear Middle School Families,

Last week a visitor from the American Heart Association spoke to our students about heart health and the many things that they can do to promote healthy living. Our students recognized the Lower School's participation in the Jump for Heart event and took a pledge to eat more fruit and vegetables, drink more water, and exercise an hour a day. They celebrated their participation in the Heart Healthy Challenge at the pep rally and earned The Pledge bracelets from the American Heart Association. Well done to our Middle School students for embracing the message and opening their minds to making healthy choices throughout their day.

The 2018-2019 school calendar is complete. Please click here to view and familiarize yourself with start dates and school holidays. It is never too soon to plan ahead!

TomorrowJanuary 25 from 8:30 am -11:30 am, our 6th graders will be traveling to the FIND Food Bank in Indio. This is a great way to introduce our students to the value of Service Learning. I would like to thank all of our 6th grade advisors for supervising and our parent drivers, Mr. Benomar, Mrs. Craven, Mrs. Martinez, Mrs. Nick, and Mr. Norte for transporting our students to and from the FIND Foodbank. Your support is greatly appreciated.
