Eblast from the Head of Middle School, 11/8

Dear Middle School Families,

I would like to acknowledge the commitment and dedication the Parent’s Association shows to our school community. From providing special lunches to teachers and students to hosting last night’s drive-in movie event and for countless other activities. What an entertaining and joyful way to come together as a school to support our community while still staying safe. I for one had a blast!  We very much appreciate our PA! Thank you for all you do.

Finally, thank you to our parents and students for your patience with our schedule change as we continue to meet the needs of our students and teachers. We have received some very positive feedback on the change.

Picture Make-Up Day
If your student missed picture day, the make-up day is tomorrow, Monday November 9 at 9am in the Gym. Please send your student to school dressed in formal uniform for the picture. They will be allowed to change into their regular uniform afterwards if they would like to.

Lost Items
Labeling your student’s items is a great way for us to ensure that any lost article can be returned to the rightful owner. I currently have a collection of water bottles with lovely stickers decorating them, but no name on the bottles for me to locate their owner. As the weather cools, I fear the same will begin happening with our student’s outerwear!

Informational Evening for 8th Graders
We will be hosting an informational evening for 8th graders on November 12th at 5:30pm. This will be an opportunity for 8th graders and their parents to hear from upper school students, as well as alumni and parents. We are encouraging 100% participation from our 8th grade families as we have much to share about what our Upper School program has to offer (now more than ever) and look forward to learning about what support is needed to make our students’ high school years as successful as possible. I hope to see you on Thursday, November 12th.

Upcoming Dates:
