“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” -Albert Einstein
Last month, our word of the month was "inquiry." There is story after story about the power of inquiry and curiosity and how it has led to discoveries, explorations, amazing inventions and developed lifelong passions. At Palm Valley, teachers encourage students to delve deeper, to find out why and what as they explore the world around them. One example is in technology, where students are taking apart computers, large and small and seeing how they work. Make sure you ask your student about all the exciting activities they are doing in their classes!
Our Third Quarter Specialist Newsletter has valuable information about your child's experiences last quarter. There are great pictures, as well. You can view it by clicking here. It is hard to believe we are in the 4th Academic Quarter! Report cards will go home on Monday, April 16th.

Thanks to all who attended our Lower School Talent Show. I was so very proud of the student participants! Our next event is the Missoula Children's Theater. They will be in residence the week of May 7th. Students from Kindergarten through Fifth grade will have the opportunity to work with this professional theater company and participate in the musical production, Wiz of the West, based on the Wizard of Oz. All students will have a part in the production. The cost is just $50 per student. This includes two tickets to the performance on Saturday, May 12th. Additional tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults. This is the third year we have brought the Missoula Children's Theater to Palm Valley, and it is a favorite event. We will be sending home informational flyers and sign up sheets next week. We are still in need of a piano accompanist for this production. If you play piano or know someone who does, please contact me for details.

As a reminder, we do not allow dogs (or pets) on campus unless they are registered service animals. Even if a dog is on a leash, it may not be walked around our school for safety reasons. Also, if you bring your dog to campus in your car, it must be kept in the vehicle at all times. If you have any questions regarding these rules, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Have a wonderful week!
