"We rise by lifting others." - Robert Ingersoll

Dear Palm Valley Families,

One more week until our Thanksgiving Break! This year is flying by! Last week, we celebrated all our fall sports at Fall Sports Awards Night, our Middle School student thespians closed their production of "12 Angry Jurors" and our Veteran's Day assembly showcased our student vocalists and strong speakers. I am grateful for the efforts of our Faculty and Staff to ensure students have opportunities to learn and grow through experiences like this. I am grateful for students who are so willing to take risks and seek excellence in athletics and arts, and for their parents and families who support them all season. Thank you!

I want to send a special thank you to those who have already given so generously to our Annual Fund this year, #TogetherWeRise. We are almost halfway to our goal for the year, and gifts are still coming in every day. This is a great way to show support for all students, faculty, and programs at Palm Valley School. Please consider giving at a level that is right for your family. We need your support! The success of our Annual Fund ensures that we can offer all the various programs and events that we put on each year. It pays for a lot of extras beyond what tuition covers. Last year, we had almost 65% of our families participating and we want to see that number be reached again and soar even higher! Remember that #TogetherWeRIse and your gift is important and helps us attain our goals. You can give online or stopping by the business office anytime. All gifts to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to consider a gift to this drive that is critical to our success each year. We appreciate your consideration!

If you have not yet purchased your tickets for this year's Annual "Secret Garden" Gala - you can do so by going here. For those of you who have not yet heard, a former MW-PV student, Carrie St. Louis (who played Galinda in the Broadway and National Tours of Wicked, among other major shows and roles) will be a guest star and providing some live entertainment this year. We have also already had some very generous sponsorships from Indigo Motors, Edelstein Fromberg Edelstein, Leon Landscaping, and more. More sponsorship and underwriting opportunities available, and we are continuing to seek out items, services, and experiences for donations to the online and live auctions, so please consider supporting in any way you can. This year's event is shaping up to be one of the best in the school's history, you do not want to miss it.

Thank you for all you do, have an incredible week!

With gratitude,

Susan Rice
