Good evening, Palm Valley School Community.
Thanksgiving is truly a special holiday. It is more than just having a big turkey dinner and frenzied shopping. It is an American tradition that marks the end of the harvest celebration. It also provides a unique opportunity to take stock of our lives and to feel a measure of thankfulness and gratitude for the people around us, including family and friends. In many families, each person takes a turn identifying something that they are grateful for. While this year will feel and be different….. the opportunity to count our numerous blessings is a healthy rite of passage – especially in the midst of our challenging times.
For me, I am grateful for my new school home and school family. Thank you for welcoming Karen and I to this special place. It is our fervent hope that you are safe and in good health this Thanksgiving week. From our family to yours…… have a great week! We look forward to welcoming you back to campus on Monday, November 30th! (And I will no doubt be a few pounds heavier!)
